Meeting Scheduled for Amendment to Planned Development at Emeryville Marketplace

New Development at Emeryville’s Public Market has been in the works for some time, with the city approving a development agreement for the site in December of 2015. However, the exact plans for Parcels A and B, which abut the railway tracks to the north of the market hall, have been in flux. The meeting on Thursday May 22nd will review revisions to the current project proposal.

Emeryville Affordable Housing Secures Funding Needed for Completion

EAH Housing has secured a new $12.8 Million loan to finish their affordable housing development at 4300 San Pablo Avenue in Emeryville. The KTGY-designed project has been in the works since 2020 but has hit several funding roadblocks delaying completion. The recent funding, approved by the Emeryville city council, hopes to push the project over the finish line.

Sutter Health Reveals $1 Billion Expansion Plans in Emeryville

Plans have been revealed for a $1 Billion medical campus in Emeryville, Alameda County. The announcement comes after the Sacramento-based not-for-profit Sutter Health purchased the 12-acre Emery Yards development in the densely-built city, featuring two existing multi-story structures, a massive parking garage, and several vacant lots. Sutter Health will be collaborating with Sutter East Bay Medical Group to manage the site.
