Meeting Tomorrow for Genentech gRED Center, South San Francisco

The South San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans tomorrow evening for the first phase of the Genentech campus redevelopment in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The proposal would expand the company’s presence in the East Side neighborhood, where it helped kick off one of the nation’s most significant industrial and life science hubs. The proposal is dubbed the Genentech Early Research and Development Center, i.e., the gRED Center.

Excavation Work Underway for Potrero Power Station Block 2, San Francisco

Significant construction progress has been shared for the future UCSF Life Sciences building in San Francisco’s waterfront Potrero Power Station redevelopment. Crews are currently working on the foundation for Block 2, a Herzog & de Meuron-designed seven-story complex that will become a cancer research center. Fifth Space, formerly known as Associate Capital, is the project developer.
