The development will create a new home for the Homeless Prenatal Program resource agency and 73 new affordable homes. HPP is working with the developer Mercy Housing. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2024.

New renderings have been filed for a 100% affordable housing development at 2530 18th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District neighborhood. The eight-story project will expand the Homeless Prenatal Program facilities and create 73 new homes. HPP is the property owner, represented by the Equity Community Builders. Mercy Housing is the developer.
The Board of Supervisors has filed permits to amend the zoning map and create an affordable housing special use district at 2500-2530 18th Street, by the eastern edge of the Mission District in San Francisco. The permits will allow for new uses of the properties, including affordable housing. A local family resource center institution, Homeless Prenatal Program, is the property owner.
