Initial renderings have been revealed for a dense residential project at Mission Bay Block 4 East in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco. The proposal will create four hundred affordable apartments across two structures, rising 16 stories and 23 stories respectively across two phases. Curtis Development and Bayview Senior Services are the joint developers.
Members of the development team and local officials gathered earlier this month to celebrate the official opening of new affordable housing at 921 Howard Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The 18-story residential project has brought over two hundred middle-income rental units to the city directly across from the 2022-opened phase one of 5M. Curtis Development and the TNDC are jointly responsible for the project.
Leasing is underway now for the newest apartment complex on the northeast edge of San Francisco’s Mission District. The Fitzgerald is now open, directly across from the recently launched affordable housing complex at 681 Florida Street and near the freshly remodeled KQED headquarters. Align Real Estate is the developer.
New plans have been filed to convert an industrial building to housing in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood. The project site is at 790 Pennsylvania Avenue, overlooking the neighborhood border with Dogpatch, an I-280 overpass covering the 22nd Street Caltrain Station. Align Real Estate is responsible for the application.
Amidst a struggling commercial real estate market, Mission Rock has proven a bright spot for San Francisco. Phase one of construction is wrapping up now in Mission Bay, which Tishman Speyer credited to Visa’s decision to move their global headquarters into Building G, and the team announced five new retail tenants secured last month. Now, the podium office space in The Canyon has been leased to Capgemini America, the US arm of the France-based global technology company.
