Additional Units Approved for Noodle Factory Development in Oakland

Revised plans were approved for an eight-story mixed-use building at 419 4th Street in Oakland’s Jack London neighborhood. The original project was reported on by SF YIMBY in November of 2022 but has been undergoing planning and approvals since then. Project owner Smart Growth and Architects Lowney Arch submitted revised plans in late 2023 which have now been approved.

The project proposal includes the development of an eight-story mixed-use building offering residential and retail spaces. The site formerly housed the H&L Noodle Factory, and the new building will maintain the original first floor facade. Smart Growth is the project owner. Lowney Architecture is the project architect.
