The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors has approved construction financing for Stone Pine Cove, a proposed manufactured homes development at 880 Stone Pine Road in Half Moon Bay. The county has secured $11.5 million, with completion expected by early 2025. Sacramento-based Capital Program Management is the project coordinator.

The project will replace a single-story structure and parking with 40 homes and new space for ALAS, a Latino-centered nonprofit organization providing the Coastside community with cultural and social services. ALAS and Mercy Housing are jointly responsible for the application.
The Draft Environmental Impact Report has been re-filed for the Hyatt Place proposal in Half Moon Bay along the San Mateo County coast. The proposal would build undeveloped land with 129 new guest rooms while leaving 40 percent of the five-acre lot as open space. Mason Architects is responsible for the design.
