The proposal will leave the historic facade and site use unchanged while adding more equipment infrastructure in the Drill Court venue while creating a dedicated Jazz Club and VIP lounge in the support area. New plans have been filed for a Bay Trail pedestrian bridge connecting the Potrero Power Station site with Warm Water Cove Park at 401 23rd Street, along the waterfront in Dogpatch, San Francisco. The plans designed by Groundworks Office will connect the mixed-use proposal with a small warehouse owned by Harrigan Weidenmuller Real Estate leased to Amazon. The plan will extend the ambitious waterfront trail envisioned by the Association of Bay Area Governments and Metropolitan Transportation Commission.

The presentation by the city’s Public Works department will showcase a modernization of the facility above the Broadway tunnel while retaining the iconic bronze dragon relief sculpture.

The city of San Francisco and its Mayor, London Breed, celebrated the groundbreaking of Bayfront Park in Mission Bay. The ceremony, held last week, announced the opening of a new park between Chase Center and San Francisco Bay. The Bayfront Park project is managed by the Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure (OCII) and built by Mission Bay’s master developer, FOCIL-MB LLC.
