Excavation work is wrapping up for the first phase of the new Youtube Headquarters in San Bruno, San Mateo County. A corner facade mock-up has been delivered on-site, showing off the SHoP Architects-designed black integrated metal louver system that will wrap around the mass-timber framework in the new offices. The Draft Environmental Impact Report is under review that would increase the housing stock of the unincorporated community of San Quentin fivefold. Education Housing Partners and Eden Housing have proposed Oak Hill Apartments, an entirely affordable complex with 250 new apartments across two structures on the hilly 8.3-acre property. The proposal, located around 101 Sir Francis Drive Boulevard, is the largest affordable project in Marin County in roughly 50 years.
New renderings have been revealed ahead of today’s meeting for Peninsula Crossing, a multi-structure development at 1200-1340 Bayshore Highway in Burlingame, San Mateo County. The city’s Planning Commission will conduct a design review study for the laboratory research complex with two garages and new improvements to the San Francisco Bay Trail. The development is being sponsored by project developer DivcoWest.
New permits have been filed seeking entitlement for a sixteen-townhouse project at 4200 Acacia Avenue in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The plans split the housing between four structures, with drives covering a sizable portion of the 0.8-acre lot. Two units will be designated as affordable housing. Dividend Homes, a Morgan Hill-based homebuilder, is the project applicant.
