Plans for the fully entitled apartment proposal at 60-70 South Almaden Avenue are available for sale in Downtown San Jose, Santa Clara County. The proposal, known as the Greyhound site, was approved to create 708 units across 1.2 million square feet. Z&L Properties has owned the property since 2016. Last year, one of the real estate firm’s top principals was arrested regarding alleged bribery in San Francisco.
The San Jose Planning Commission is scheduled to review the site development permits proposal for the redevelopment of the former Fry’s Electronics property at 550 East Brokaw Road in North San Jose, Santa Clara County. The project would reshape a 19.7-acre property occupied by the box store and surface parking with almost two million square feet of office space and a public park. Bay West Development is responsible for the proposal, with architectural design by Gensler.
New plans have been revealed for a five-story residential infill at 3265 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The proposal will build on a vacant parcel of land between an existing restaurant and a hotel. The local Half Dome Capital real estate investment firm is responsible for the development.
