The 29th tallest building in the Bay Area planned or built is 706 Mission Street, the nearly complete residential building operated by Four Seasons Private Residences in SoMa, San Francisco. The skyscraper tops out at 510 feet to be the tallest building in the region actively under construction since activity on the Oceanwide Center was halted last year. Westbrook Partners is responsible for the development through 706 Mission Street Co LLC.

Renderings Revealed For a New Solar4America Ice At 1500 South 10th Street, San Jose

Renderings have been revealed for a new arena at Solar4America Ice in San Jose. The City Planning Commission approved a 200,000 square-foot expansion early this year at 1500 South 10th Street, San Jose. The project proposal includes two recreational ice sheets to the facility, increasing the building’s total ice sheets to six. Solar4America Ice is owned by the City of San Jose. Sharks Ice LLC, a subsidiary of Sharks Sports & Entertainment, is the property manager and operator.

Superstructure work is nearing its peak at 30 Otis Street, a 26-story mixed-use tower at the far northwest edge of SoMa, San Francisco. The building will yield 418 rental units at a six-way intersection that has become a new nexus of high-rise residential development outside of the East Cut. The Four Seasons Private Residences at 706 Mission Nearing Completion in SoMa, SF

The project rising at 706 Mission Street is one of the tallest projects rising in the city of San Francisco. Located in the SoMa neighborhood, it is bringing 146 new homes, a ground-level space for retail or restaurant, and a new four-story location for the city’s Mexican Museum designed by Mexico City-based TEN Arquitectos. The development comprises two towers, the historic ten-story Aronson building and the newly built 45-story tower designed by Handel Architects. Its future residents plan to move in by the end of the year.
