A new set of renderings have been published showcasing a commercial project proposed for development at 180 El Camino Real in Palo Alto. The project proposal includes the construction of revamping the restaurant with an additional story. The restaurant is a part of the Stanford Shopping Center of Palo Alto, Santa Clara County.
Simon properties is the project developer. RH Architecture & Design is responsible for the designs.

The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 3 acres. New renderings have been released the design revamp. The 25-foot tall project will yield 11,800 square feet, with 2,780 square feet of outdoor dining area.

The scope of work includes a small expansion, and reinvestment into the mall’s existing model, all while several others across the Bay Area have invested significant resources to developing mixed-use centers.
Simon Properties describes itself as responsible for the “ownership of premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations” across the world. The firm oversees 217 properties in the United States and abroad.

A Minor Board Level Architectural Review application to allow exterior modifications including changes to plaster, metal color, and modification of minor architectural details has been submitted. The project awaits review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
