The 63-foot-tall structure is expected to yield around 10,730 square feet with six two-bedroom dwellings and a rooftop common area. The pre-application utilizes Senate Bill 423 to streamline the approval process. The application includes one affordable apartment, allowing the developer to increase residential capacity with the State Density Bonus law. The apartment will be priced for households earning around half of the area’s median income.
Oakland-based dsk architects is responsible for the design. The project renderings show a familiar urban vernacular, including five inset balconies. The lobby entrance will include copper-finish doors, with the facade clad with white plaster and metal louvers.

Interesting to see developments on such a small lot. Would be great to see more of these and see what developers come up with.
Moore family housing in a transit area is great
This sub-neighborhood in the sub neighborhood of SOMA-West is really quiet and has great proximity to many parts of the city. This building will fit in nicely amidst the varied architecture and building types in this area.
I have a friend who lives on Natoma and 7th street in a condo. Good mix of modern construction and square footage to be found in that area, but the neighborhood is still decades away from rehabilitation, if that’s even entirely possible.
