Plans have been revealed for a multi-family infill at 398 Day Street in Noe Valley, San Francisco. The initial documents plan to double the site’s residential capacity, replacing a 1938-built single-story duplex with four apartments. ADU Collective is responsible for the application and architecture, working for the property owner.

The roughly 40-foot-tall structure is expected to yield around 4,550 square feet of housing. Of the four residences, there will be three two-bedrooms and one three-bedroom apartment. Parking for four bicycles will be included in the lobby. The bottom two floors will each be occupied by individual units, while the top two floors will be split for two-story apartments with bedrooms overlooking private decks.
The property is located at the corner of Day Street and Noe Street, in the southern portion of the Noe Valley neighborhood, and close to Billy Goat Hill. Future residents will be just two blocks away from the Church and Day Street Muni light rail station.

These recent plans were published as part of a project review meeting, and have not included a formal application for Senate Bill 330 pre-application. The estimated cost and timeline for construction have not been established.
