New construction permits have been requested for a proposed single-family house at 288 Pacheco Street in the Forest Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. The application would add just one home to the vacant lot. Shatara Architecture is responsible for the application and design.

The four-story structure will yield around 5,050 square feet with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The latest application removes an accessory dwelling unit from previous plans. Illustrations show a modern Alpine-inspired design clad in smooth vertical stucco panels and brick veneer.
The 0.11-acre property is located at the corner of Pacheco Street and Marcela Avenue. The site is a few blocks away from the Forest Hill light rail station, across from the Laguna Honda Hospital campus. The retail-rich West Portal neighborhood is less than 20 minutes away on foot.

Construction is estimated to cost around a million dollars, a figure not inclusive of all development costs.
