Final Environmental Documents Submitted for Arroyo Lago Project in Alameda County

A Final Environmental Impact Report was submitted to CEQA for a project on unincorporated county land near Pleasanton, Alameda County. The project’s initial surveys were submitted in 2023, with revisions in 2024 and now in 2025. It appears that at least one primary variation between the 2024 and 2025 impact reports relates to the size and design of the agricultural irrigation fields included as part of the initial development.

A little over a week ago, the new affordable housing project called Kiku Crossing celebrated its Grand Opening. The project, located at 400 East 5th Avenue in San Mateo was developed by MidPen as a transit oriented apartment complex in the central area of San Mateo. The City of San Mateo and County of San Mateo were close partners to help facilitate the project’s development.

A new proposal would demolish an existing single family home in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill Neighborhood and construct a much larger duplex on the site. The new building would rise four stories and consist of one more unit than the previous building. Pristereo is the project architect responsible for the new building’s layout and designs.
