The application would bolster the construction of the first new complex of the Freedom West 2.0 masterplan with over a hundred units of affordable senior housing at 880 McAllister Street. MacFarlane Partners and Avanath Capital Management are the project sponsors.
Building permits have been filed for the expansion of NVIDIA’s headquarters at 2400 Condensa Street in Santa Clara. The application comes as new renderings have been published for what would become the third building, to be named NVIDIA Starbase, designed by Gensler for the world’s highest-valued company. Devcon Construction is listed as the project applicant.

A new funding milestone has been announced for Freedom West 2.0, a master plan to right the wrongs of 20th-century urban redevelopment in San Francisco’s Fillmore District. The $27 million secured to date comes a month after a new state bill has created a new pathway to finance the project. The development team includes MacFarlane Partners and Avanath Capital Management.
New development permits have been filed for the proposed six-story senior housing project at 3135 San Pablo Avenue in West Oakland. The application will create 73 affordable units built by Satellite Affordable Housing Associates. Saint Mary’s Center is the property owner, filing through 967 32nd Street Associates LLC.
