Plans Filed for New San Francisco Bay Trail Pedestrian Bridge

New plans have been filed for a Bay Trail pedestrian bridge connecting the Potrero Power Station site with Warm Water Cove Park at 401 23rd Street, along the waterfront in Dogpatch, San Francisco. The plans designed by Groundworks Office will connect the mixed-use proposal with a small warehouse owned by Harrigan Weidenmuller Real Estate leased to Amazon. The plan will extend the ambitious waterfront trail envisioned by the Association of Bay Area Governments and Metropolitan Transportation Commission.

Permits Filed for 3031 Telegraph Avenue, Elmwood, Berkeley

Permits have been filed for a six-story residential infill at 3031 Telegraph Avenue in Elmwood, Berkeley, Alameda County. The project will replace a two-story commercial structure with 127 units, more than the initially approved 110 units for the site, thanks to the State Density Bonus program. Grubb Properties is the project sponsor.

Renderings Revealed for 2820 San Pablo Avenue, Southwest Berkeley

New renderings have been revealed for the mixed-use development in Southwest Berkeley, Alameda County. The proposal will feature two integrally connected structures with distinct addresses, 2820 San Pablo Avenue and 2821 10th Street, but treated as one project. Oakland-based Cork-Mayo Investments is the project developer.

300 Kansas Street Preps for Vertical Construction, Potrero Hill, San Francisco

Vertical construction is expected imminently for an advanced six-story factory at 300 Kansas Street in Potrero Hill, San Francisco. The proposal will create new R&D and Manufacturing facilities within a high-tech net-zero carbon building. The project is being developed by Spear Street Capital, headquartered in the city’s prominent Spear Towers.

Meeting Tomorrow for Redesigned 1900 Diamond Street, San Francisco

The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to vote tomorrow on redesigned plans for 24 units at 1900 Diamond Street in San Francisco. The new iteration breaks away from the former linear block to preserve ten trees, create a public viewing platform, and obscure the project with setbacks away from the sidewalk along Diamond Street. Solomon Cordwell Buenz, an international firm with offices in San Francisco, is the project architect.

Pre-application Filed for 2600 Telegraph Avenue, Northgate-Waverly, Oakland

Junction Properties has filed a pre-application for an eight-story residential development for 2600 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland’s burgeoning Northgate-Waverly neighborhood. The proposal will replace surface parking and a low-rise commercial structure with 225 residential units and ground-floor retail. BAR Architects is responsible for the design.
