Swinerton Tops Off The Canyon in Mission Rock, San Francisco

Swinerton crews have topped off The Canyon, the tallest residential tower in San Francisco to reach the milestone in 2022. The Canyon is a 23-story residential tower rising on Parcel A in the Mission Rock development along the Mission Bay waterfront. The master plan by Mission Rock Partners, a joint venture between the San Francisco Giants and Tishman Speyer, is replacing 28 acres of former surface parking with over a thousand units of housing, offices, retail, and new public parks.

Three Of Four Towers Near Topping Out in Phase One of Mission Rock in Mission Bay, San Francisco

Construction has topped out for Buildings B and G in Mission Rock, with Building A near the same milestone, and groundbreaking imminent for Building F. As phase one of the project speeds towards completion, more is expected from one of the most prominent projects to complete San Francisco’s decades-long plan to replace surface parking in Mission Bay with a vibrant transit-oriented neighborhood. Mission Rock is being led by Mission Rock Partner, a joint venture with Tishman Speyer and the San Francisco Giants.

SFYIMBY Site Visit: Major Construction Progress at Mission Rock, San Francisco

Construction work is moving forward at speed for Mission Rock, a dense mixed-use project reshaping 28 acres of former parking along the San Francisco waterfront in Mission Bay. Concrete is in place for the podium for The Canyon to introduce Mission Rock’s first housing across 24 floors. Future Visa Global HQ Tops Out at Mission Rock, San Francisco

Construction is moving quickly for Mission Rock, the multi-tower waterfront development by Tishman Speyer across from Oracle Park in Mission Bay, San Francisco. The first hints of vertical work were reported in spring, and floors started to rise for the future Visa global headquarters at block G by early summer. Now, the office building has topped out, with foundation work preparing for the vertical rise of the remaining three buildings in phase one of Mission Rock.
