The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for a two-structure residential infill at 1721 15th Street in the Mission District’s Mission Dolores neighborhood. The project will rise six stories above 15th Street, with a rear-yard building offering four townhome-style units. Veev, a start-up based in San Mateo, is the project developer and contractor.
Planning commissioners show largely positive views on the proposed mixed-use development at 477 9th Avenue in Downtown San Mateo, San Mateo County. The project would replace a single-story commercial structure currently on the outskirts of the denser urban area with five floors of housing, office space, and vehicular parking. The Martin Group is the project applicant.
A proposal will be heard by the City of South San Francisco for the replacement Safeway grocery store at 180 El Camino Real in South San Francisco in San Mateo County. Tomorrow’s meeting will occur over half a decade after the multi-tenant 180 El Camino strip mall was closed in preparation for a transit-oriented mixed-use development that hasn’t materialized. Now, the property has been purchased by SteelWave, and plans are moving ahead.
Plans have been approved this summer for Centro Callan, a mixed-use development at 1188 East 14th Street in Old San Leandro. The five-story proposal will add 196 new dwelling units on top of a new specialty grocery store. Sansome Pacific and The Martin Group are jointly responsible for the development.
