The proposal would add over three hundred apartment units and retail across from the Y-shaped intersection between Shattuck Avenue and Adeline Street. Hudson McDonald is responsible for the application.
Plans have been filed for yet another Safeway-to-housing proposal, this time in Marin County. The eight-story proposal, first reported by Richard Halstead for the Marin Independent Journal, aims to create over three hundred residential units at 700 B Street in Downtown San Rafael, but does not include a replacement grocery store. Mill Creek Residential is the project developer.
Plans have been increased for an 11-story apartment complex at 2920 Shattuck Avenue in South Berkeley, Alameda County. The application has added a floor for a total of 242 dwelling units to the corner lot overlooking the Berkeley Bowl grocery store. NX Ventyres is responsible for the application.
The Berkeley Design Review Committee is scheduled to review plans tonight for a six-story apartment complex at 2800 Telegraph Avenue in South Berkeley, Alameda County. The hybrid event will discuss the SDT Architects-designed corner proposal expected to replace Karim Cycles. Avi Forman of Via Design Build is responsible for the application, filing on behalf of the property owner, Adlai Karim.
Construction is currently underway for an eight-story apartment complex at 930 Irwin Street in San Rafael, Marin County. Crews are currently making progress on the foundation of the 210-unit development, dubbed Modera San Rafael. Mill Creek Residential and Seagull Prime Real Estate Fund are jointly responsible for the development.
