The City of Santa Clara and Irvine Company are scheduled to hold a community meeting tonight to review the residential redevelopment of a 25-acre office park at 2518 Mission College Boulevard. The team is pursuing plans to construct 1,792 apartments within the Freedom Circle Focus Area plan. The event will occur at The Garage, a co-working space within Santa Clara Square, a nearby mixed-use development opened in 2022 by Irvine Company.

The team is preparing for the January opening of AVE Santa Clara, an eight-story residential mid-rise with over three hundred homes. Next door, the team has refurbished a Carl’s Junior building with a bar and grill surrounded by landscaping and food trucks.
