The wide-ranging development would construct four different structures with between 1,800 to 2,600 apartments, up between two to three million square feet of commercial real estate, retail, public open space, and a childcare facility across nearly fifty acres. The City of Santa Clara and Irvine Company are scheduled to hold a community meeting tonight to review the residential redevelopment of a 25-acre office park at 2518 Mission College Boulevard. The team is pursuing plans to construct 1,792 apartments within the Freedom Circle Focus Area plan. The event will occur at The Garage, a co-working space within Santa Clara Square, a nearby mixed-use development opened in 2022 by Irvine Company.
