New renderings have just been published for the 12-story apartment infill at 2530 Bancroft Way in Berkeley’s Southside neighborhood. The infill aims to create 110 apartments across from the UC Berkeley campus and close to the city’s busy Telegraph Avenue. Landmark Properties is the project developer.

The project will create over a hundred homes and retail directly across from the UC Berkeley campus. The Miottel Corporation, a trust connected to Berkeley-based W. John Miottel, is listed as the current property owner.

The project proposal includes the construction of a new five-story mixed-use building offering spaces for residential and commercial uses. The project proposes the demolition of a two-story commercial building on the site. Studio KDA is responsible for the designs.
