The San Jose Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans later this week for a sprawling townhouse development at 5670 Camden Avenue in the Cambrian neighborhood of San Jose, Santa Clara County. The development will replace several baseball fields with over a hundred units across several dozen buildings. Mana Investments is responsible for the application, filing through Mana Camden Fund, LLC.
The San Jose City Council has approved a $73.7 million bond for the affordable housing infill at 1371 Kooser Road in the Cambrian neighborhood of San Jose, Santa Clara County. The project will soon replace a former Chuck E. Cheese location with nearly two hundred units of housing. San Diego-based Affirmed Housing is the project developer.
Pre-application permits have been filed for a potential fourplex to rise next to a single-family home at 14936 Sutton Drive in Cambrian, Santa Clara County. The filing uses the Builder’s Remedy and Senate Bill 330 to pursue adding density to the suburban plot. The application comes from the same developers who plan to convert their offices into housing at 97 Boston Avenue, as covered yesterday.
Affirmed Housing Group and the city of San Jose celebrated the official opening of Vitalia, a new affordable housing complex at 3100 South Bascom Avenue. The project will bring 79 units, over half of which will be permanent supportive housing, in the southern San Jose neighborhood of Cambrian.
New building permits have been filed for the construction of three new medical buildings at 2505 Samaritan Drive and 2512 Samaritan Court in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The proposal is part of a long-term plan to expand and modernize the Samaritan Medical Center campus, close to the Cambrian Park Plaza plan. Cilker Henderson Properties is the project developer.
