The project will provide new residential space in a relatively retail-rich corner of several car-oriented neighborhoods. The project is planned to be immediately adjacent to the Almaden Expressway, which merges with Route 87 to cut through Downtown San Jose. Columbia Pacific Advisors is listed as the project sponsor.
Permits have been filed for 21970 Fortini Road in South San Jose. The site is along a winding road in a sparsely developed area. It sits on one of the outermost edges of the metropolitan area around ranches and large fields. Due to its somewhat remote location, there is no accessible transit in the vicinity of the property.
