New documents show plans for the proposed project at 501 South Almaden Avenue in San Jose. The plans indicate a significant scale-up from earlier proposals, raising the total number of units from 53 to 99. The project’s developer, Satellite Affordable Housing Associates, will be using Senate Bill 35 as a means of expediting the higher-density project.
New building permits have been filed for the approved plans at 45 Montclair Terrace in San Francisco’s Russian Hill neighborhood. The small residential infill project is looking to add another high-end luxury house to the affluent neighborhood perched next to the serpentine section of Lombard Street. Y.A. Studio is the project sponsor.
The Berkeley Design Review Committee is scheduled to review plans tomorrow evening for the eight-story apartment complex at 2700 Shattuck Avenue in South Berkeley, Alameda County. The proposal will create several hundred apartments between Downtown Berkeley and the Ashby BART Station. Hudson McDonald is responsible for the application.
Revised plans have been filed for Brooklyn Basin Parcel E in Oakland, Alameda County. The updated application looks to reduce the overall capacity of the future seven-story senior housing complex from 191 to 175 units. Signature Development Group is responsible for the application, and Spokane-based SRM Development is listed as the project developer.
Public officials and the project team gathered earlier this month to celebrate the grand opening of Legacy Court, a new affordable housing development at 1243 Fred Jackson Way in Richmond, Contra Costa County. Legacy Court Apartments has added 43 units, along with associated amenities and residential services, in the North Richmond neighborhood. Community Housing Development Corporation of North Richmond and Eden Housing are jointly responsible for the project.
