CEQA Documents Reviewed for Multifamily Project in Alameda

More documents, including a design review and notice of exemption, have been filed with CEQA on behalf of a project located at 2433 Mariner Square Drive in Alameda. Previously reported on by SF YIMBY in 2024, the project is being brought by The Martin Group with plans to transform the West Alameda parcel. The current commercial area would be replaced by high-rise residential with views of downtown Oakland, the Port of Oakland, and across the San Francisco Bay.

Brisbane Files with CEQA for Baylands Specific Development Plan

Last week, the City of Brisbane’s proposal for the Baylands development area was opened for public review through the CEQA application page. The specific site plan, developed in partnership with the Metis Environmental Group and Environmental Science Associates, is a sweeping redevelopment of more than 680 acres along Highway 101 and the Caltrain tracks between San Francisco and South San Francisco.

For the last twelve days of 2024, SF YIMBY will look back on each month and reflect on the biggest stories we covered. In October, the biggest stories can be measured by floor count, with updates on three San Francisco projects that may rise 33, 65, and 72 floors respectively.
