New building permits have been filed for a new four-story apartment complex to rise at 2536 California Street in Pacific Heights, San Francisco. Demolition permits have already been filed for the existing commercial structure, with plans to create three new apartments and a ground-level commercial space. Redwood Properties is responsible for the development as the property owner.
Formal permits have been filed for a backyard infill project at 1474 South Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco’s Mission District. The small proposal aims to create a six-story apartment complex behind the adaptive reuse of a historic home built in 1880. RG Architecture is responsible for the application and design.
Planning progress and new renderings have been published for the proposed 41-story tower at One Oak in San Francisco’s Market & Octavia Area Plan, formerly known as The Hub. The latest documents show a modified design scheme by SCB, as well as a minor increase in unit count since the project was revived by the property owner last year. The Emerald Fund is responsible for the application on behalf of the owner, Washington Capital.
Following a project proposal originally brought in 2020, new approvals have come through for the demolition and redevelopment of a 4.9-acre site near The Presidio in San Francisco. While original city approvals were met in 2020, the project has not yet begun its demolitions, awaiting further environmental approvals and plan revision approvals.
Plans have been filed for a small office-to-housing conversion at 1947 Divisadero Street in Lower Pacific Heights, San Francisco. The application will create four apartments on the top two floors of the 88-year-old three-story structure. MC Construction LLC is listed as the property owner.
