Expansion has been proposed for an existing residential building located at 4400 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland. The project proposal includes the expansion and repair of an existing building to be used as office space and event venue.
Building People Power Inc is the project developer. David Baker Architects is responsible for the designs.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 8,469 square feet, and is developed with a single-story brick building. The scope of work includes the expansion of the existing one-story building by adding four new floors on the north property line and another one-story addition on the east property line. The proposed one-story building will be used as an event venue and office space. Some exterior renovation is also proposed but the existing brick building will preserved and repaired.
A project application has been submitted, pending review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
