Palo Alto’s Architectural Review Board is scheduled to review plans this morning for a townhouse development at 2100-2400 Geng Road near the Baylands Nature Preserve, Palo Alto. The project is expected to replace an 11-acre office campus with 145 apartments. San Francisco-based Strada Investment Group is responsible for the project.

The project will add 145 units to the site, producing a gross density of 13.15 units per acre. Construction will produce 65 structures containing around 341,950 square feet, including parking for 333 cars and 145 bicycles. Of the 65 structures, there will be 48 detached townhomes and 17 multi-unit rowhouses. Of the 145 units, 19 will be deed-restricted as affordable housing to households earning around 60% of the area’s median income.
Dahlin Group is responsible for the design, with Guzzardo Partnership overseeing the landscape architecture. Illustrations show that all structures will feature a familiar contemporary vernacular clad with stucco and wood siding.
