Commission Approves Magnolias Affordable Housing in Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County

The City of Morgan Hill Planning Commission has voted to approve the Magnolias Affordable Housing project, bringing new affordable housing to the affluent small city in the southern reaches of Santa Clara County. The five-story project would create 66 new homes at 17965 Monterey Road, within walking distance of the town’s central retail hub and Caltrain station. First Community Housing is the project developer.

New Renderings, Timeline Established for McEvoy-Dupont Affordable Housing, West San Carlos, San Jose

SERA Architects has published new designs for a planned two-tower residential development at 280 McEvoy Street and 699 West San Carlos Street in West San Carlos, San Jose. The proposal would create 365 new affordable homes split between the Family and the Workforce towers by Diridon Station. Lendlease and First Community Housing are jointly responsible for the development.

Meeting Scheduled For Google’s Middlefield Park Project In Mountain View

A project review meeting has been scheduled for a large-scale Google project in Mountain View. The project proposal includes 1,000 plus residential units, including affordable housing, office space, and retail space. Google Inc is the project applicant. Lendlease is the project developer. SERA Architects is responsible for the master planning, and HASSEL is managing the urban design. Landscaping is managed by CMG.

Plans Reviewed for Massive Google Middlefield Park, Mountain View, Santa Clara County

Development plans are under review for a mixed-use Google Middlefield Park master plan in Mountain View, Santa Clara County. Google’s proposal brings up to 1,950 apartments, retail, 10.5 acres of parkland, and over a million square feet of offices with transit-oriented planning. The development possible after the city adopted its East Whisman Precise Plan in 2019. Google is working with Lendlease to develop the project and is expecting completion as late as 2040.
