Tallest Building in Santa Clara Tops Out in Tasman East

Santa Clara’s newest towers are also its tallest. Construction has topped out for 2300 Calle De Luna, an apartment complex with two towers rising from the eight-story podium and surrounded by landscaping in the Tasman East Specific Plan. Completion of the seven hundred units, shops, and landscaped public parkland is expected as early as next year. Related Companies is the project developer.

Senior Housing at 1001 Van Ness Avenue Nears Completion, San Francisco

Construction is finishing up on Coterie Cathedral Hill, a luxury senior housing development at 1001 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco’s small Cathedral Hill neighborhood. The project adds 209 new units to the poorly supplied market of high-end senior housing. Coterie Cathedral Hill will be just the second project for the new Coterie Brand, a collaboration between Related Companies and Atria Senior Living.

1001 Van Ness Avenue Tops Out, Facade Reaches Top in Fillmore District, San Francisco

Construction of the thirteen-story mixed-use tower at 1001 Van Ness Street, San Francisco, has topped out as the facade nears completion. We last covered the site in early October, when the concrete structure was just eight stories high, and the first facade panels were installed. Designed by Handel Architects, the building will bring a new center for assisted senior living along the city’s fast-developing Van Ness corridor and the Fillmore District. Related Companies and Atria Senior Living are managing the development through a joint venture.
