Construction Wrapping Up For 1633 Valencia Street, San Francisco

Construction is wrapping up for the affordable senior housing at 1633 Valencia Street between Bernal Heights and the Mission District in San Francisco. Our recent site visit shows the exterior work appears complete, with an attractive brick and tile facade designed by David Baker Architects and built by Cahill Contractors. Mercy Housing is the project developer, with support from the San Francisco Housing Accelerator Fund.

Construction Starts on Teacher Housing at 231 Grant Avenue, Palo Alto

Construction has started for the four-story affordable housing complex at 231 Grant Avenue in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The project will open 110 units for teachers, school district staff, and their families, including staff in Santa Clara County and several southern San Mateo County school districts. The project has been a joint venture between Abode Communities and Mercy Housing.

Construction Soon for 4200 Geary Boulevard in Richmond District, San Francisco

Construction is expected to start this April for the seven-story affordable senior housing proposal at 4200 Geary Boulevard in the Richmond District of San Francisco. The update has been announced by the project developer, the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation. Once complete, the project will offer 98 new homes for residents earning between 15-50% of the Area Median Income.
