The project has been a joint venture between Abode Communities and Mercy Housing.

The project is sponsored by the County of Santa Clara, Facebook, the City of Palo Alto, and participating school districts in Santa Clara County. Mercy Housing California and Abode Communities are managing the development. Van Meter Williams Pollack LLC is responsible for the designs.
A new residential project has been proposed for development at 1701 San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley. The project proposal includes the development of a six-story building offering 100 % affordable housing units with onsite parking. The project site houses Berkeley Adult School. Two community-based nonprofit housing providers, Satellite Affordable Housing Associates (SAHA) and Abode Communities, have partnered with Berkeley Unified School District (BUSD) to develop the project. PYATOK Architects is responsible for the designs.
