New renderings have been revealed alongside building permits filed for a six-story affordable housing complex at 1701 San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley, Alameda County. The project will replace a portion of the Berkeley Adult School’s parking lot with over a hundred homes. Berkeley Unified School District is the property owner, while Abode Communities and Satellite Affordable Housing Associates will be joint developers.

Construction has started for the four-story affordable housing complex at 231 Grant Avenue in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The project proposal includes building 110 apartments for teachers and staff members at Santa Clara and San Mateo County schools. The project is sponsored by the County of Santa Clara, Facebook, the City of Palo Alto, and participating school districts in Santa Clara County. Mercy Housing California and Abode Communities are managing the development. Van Meter Williams Pollack LLC is responsible for the designs.

Housing Proposed At 1701 San Pablo Avenue In Berkeley

A new residential project has been proposed for development at 1701 San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley. The project proposal includes the development of a six-story building offering 100 % affordable housing units with onsite parking. The project site houses Berkeley Adult School. Two community-based nonprofit housing providers, Satellite Affordable Housing Associates (SAHA) and Abode Communities, have partnered with Berkeley Unified School District (BUSD) to develop the project. PYATOK Architects is responsible for the designs.
