A new affordable housing project is proposed for development at 125 East 125 12th Street in Merritt, Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of a new eight-story building to be used as an affordable housing complex offering 94 units. Satellite Affordable Housing Associates is leading the project and working with co-developer Eastlake United for Justice.
The City of El Cerrito and project developer Related California have been awarded $39.1 million in state funding for the El Cerrito Plaza Transit-Oriented Development in Contra Costa County. The financing will allow the team to start construction on the first affordable housing building in phase one, which is expected to start next year.
