A new residential project has been proposed at 805 R Street in Downtown Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of a six-seven-story high buildings offering affordable residential units. Plans call for the demolition of the existing warehouse on the site. Mutual Housing California and the Capitol Area Development Authority (CADA) are teaming up for the project. Salazar Architects is responsible for the design concepts.

The plan for affordable senior housing is progressing for Wong Center at 631 F Street in Sacramento. Commercial New Building permits have been filed to the city for the four-story project, proposing to replace vacant land and surface parking in the under-built Sacramento Railyards district. Mutual Housing is the project owner and developer.

Renderings have revealed plans for a mixed-use affordable housing project at 5700 Stockton Boulevard in Fruitridge Manor, Sacramento. The project will fill the former San Juan Motel site, which was demolished almost a decade prior. Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency recently selected Mutual Housing California to be responsible for the development.
