Affordable Infill Proposed For 2900 Wah Avenue, Sacramento

Plans have been filed for an affordable housing development at 2900 Wah Avenue in the residential Woodbine neighborhood of Sacramento. The project is being co-developed by Habitat for Humanity and Mutual Housing, with the two organizations splitting the roughly five-acre lot into two separate applications. Full build-out is looking to produce 101 apartments and 23 single-family homes.

The project proposal includes the construction of a new five-story mixed-use building offering spaces for low-income residential units, parking, and office spaces. The project will redevelop a former State of California storage warehouse. Mutual Housing California and the Capitol Area Development Authority are the project developers.
