Construction has topped out, with facade installation starting at 1265 Borregas Avenue in Sunnyvale’s Moffett Park area. The project will open as the first mass timber office building in Google’s expansive Sunnyvale office campus. Michael Green Architecture is responsible for the design.
One Post Street is tied as the 26th tallest building in the Bay Area, planned or built. The office tower stands 529 feet above street level in the San Francisco Financial District. The tower had been home to the McKesson Corporation Global Headquarters before the firm moved to Texas in 2019. Brookfield Properties is the building owner, with leasing managed by JLL.
The new vision has been announced for the memorial for the iconic Harvey Milk. The project, located at Harvey Milk Plaza in Castro District, is an endeavor to honor the contributions and legacy of Harvey Milk. The Friends of Harvey Milk Plaza was formed in 2016 to lead the effort to realize this vision. SWA Group is responsible for the design concepts.
San Francisco’s Design Review Committee is scheduled to consider approval for the design development of the Portsmouth Square improvement project today at 2 PM. The project, led by the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department, proposes redesigning and expanding the public amenities of the ‘living room’ of Chinatown. The project includes replacing the existing pedestrian bridge over Kearny Street with a new community building, modernizing the playground, expanding shaded seating along the central plaza, and more.
New renderings have been revealed ahead of the planning commission meeting for 3896 Stevens Creek Boulevard, on the north edge of the West Valley neighborhood in San Jose. The new proposal will be a sizable addition, providing office space and a health club to Stevens Creek and Saratoga Avenue’s retail-rich intersection. Cypress Equities is the developer for the project.
