The City of Belmont has published a notice of preparation for the environmental review of plans for 1301 Shoreway Road. Plans have been filed for two office structures and a garage close to Ralston and Highway 101. Los Altos-based real estate investment and operating company Four Corners Properties is the project developer.
After missing a November deadline last year, one of the developers behind the tree-lined apartment proposal in Downtown San Jose has given a new estimate. Gary Dillabough of Urban Community has reportedly shared that construction at 409 South Second Street is expected to start in the first half of 2024. If this is accomplished, it would be the first project in the Westbank master plan to rise.
Construction has topped out for the first life science structure in The Landing, rising at 1699 Old Bayshore Highway in Burlingame, San Mateo County. The progress comes just eight months after YIMBY’s last site visit, during which Hathaway Dinwiddie was starting on the foundation. King Street Properties and Helios Real Estate Partners are joint developers for the project.
A project review meeting has been scheduled for a 1 West Orange Avenue in South San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a new aquatic center at Orange Memorial Park. An existing aquatic center is slated for demolition under the same permit. ELS Architecture & Design LLC is responsible for the designs. BFK Engineers is the civil engineer on the project. SWA is responsible for the landscape design.
New permit activity has been filed for the 30-story apartment tower dubbed Orchard Residential in Downtown San Jose, Santa Clara County. The plan is part of the multi-tower redevelopment master plan for San Jose by the Canadian developer Westbank in partnership with the local real estate firm Urban Community.
