The review declared that the project would not have a significant effect on the environment. The four-story structure would replace a surface parking lot currently occupied by portable shipping containers. Buddha Properties is listed as the property owner.

The property is located at 3855 West Street in Longfellow, North Oakland. The project proposal includes constructing six residential units on the vacant lot and minor front entry and setback changes.

The project will add seven townhouse-style buildings, totaling 13,800 square feet, on a corner parcel two blocks away from the MacArthur BART station. Workshop1 is not just in charge of developing. They are also the full owners, architects, and real estate broker of 3855 West Street.
