Final EIR Review for SFMTA Potrero Yard Redevelopment

Plans are moving forward to build hundreds of affordable homes inside a new bus yard in San Francisco’s Mission District. This Thursday, the city’s Planning Commission is scheduled to review the Final Environmental Impact Report about the SFMTA Potrero Yards Modernization proposal. The project will replace the existing bus yard and build up to 513 units, with a refined project variant floated to build just 103 units. SFMTA and Plenary Group are joint developers.

New Renderings for SFMTA’s Mixed-Use Potrero Yard Redevelopment

New renderings have been published for the full-block mixed-use redevelopment of the SFMTA Potrero Yard bus maintenance facility at 2500 Mariposa Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The updated design shows a more refined exterior, though the housing capacity is reduced from 575 to 513 units. Plenary Group is responsible for the application.

Construction Update for Affordable Housing at Mission Bay Block 9A, San Francisco

Construction has started for the eight-story affordable infill at 400 China Basin Street in Mission Bay, San Francisco. The project is expected to open 148 new condominiums for sale by 2024, overlooking the rising Mission Rock neighborhood. Mithun is responsible for the design.

New Renderings Revealed for Potrero Yard Modernization in San Francisco

New renderings provide the best glimpse yet at how the SF MTA Potrero Yard modernization project will change the neighborhood’s skyline. The illustrations come a week after the announcement that Plenary Group will be the lead developer for the project at 2500 Mariposa Street in the Mission District of San Francisco. Completion is expected by 2027.

Construction Starts for Affordable Condos at Mission Bay Block 9A, San Francisco

While facade installation is finishing up for Mission Bay Block 9, construction has officially started for the fully-affordable condominiums at Block 9A in Mission Bay, San Francisco. Both projects will bring new affordable housing to the city. Block 9 is dedicated to formerly homeless individuals, and Block 9A will sell 148 affordable condominiums opening by 2024.

Permits Filed for Mission Bay Block 9A at 400 China Basin Street, San Francisco

New building permits have been filed for an eight-story 100% affordable housing development with priority from the Mayor’s office at 400 China Basin Street in Mission Bay, San Francisco. The project will take up Block 9A of the neighborhood-wide master plan for the waterfront area. The developer team is being co-managed by Curtis Development, Michael Simmons Property Development, and YCD, i.e., Young Community Developers.
