Updated plans have been approved for a now-vacant corner lot at 4898 El Camino Real in Los Altos, Santa Clara County. The application looks to build an eight-story apartment complex, the tallest approved project for the affluent city. Los Altos-based Aron Developers Inc. is the project sponsor.
The official groundbreaking ceremony was held yesterday afternoon for Distel Circle, a five-story affordable housing infill at 330 Distel Circle in Los Altos, Santa Clara County. The project is adding 90 units to the city’s northern border with Mountain View. EAH Housing is the project developer.
New CEQA documents including a Mitigated Negative Declaration were published for a mixed use development at 996 Loraine Avenue in Los Altos. The proposed project by Denardi Wang Homes would demolish the existing site and build a new three story mixed use building on the site. SDG Architects is responsible for the new building’s design.
Earlier this month, the Peninsula based developer Prometheus has received final approvals for an 80 million dollar loan towards the completion of their project located at 5150 El Camino Real in Los Altos. The project, located along the city’s main commercial corridor, would bring almost 200 units of new housing to the area.
