The structure, named the Krabbenschmit building, is owned and developed privately. The plans detail a two part approach to the expansion, including both renovation and addition.
Increased plans have surfaced for a residential infill at 1728 Larkin Street in San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood. The updated proposal uses the recently passed San Francisco Family Zoning Plan to allow additional units within a larger six-story structure. Larkspur-based Paul Kraaijvanger of Real Equity Group One is listed as the property owner, filing through Equity Six LLC.
New building and demolition permits have been filed for a nine-story apartment complex at 842 California Street near Huntington Park, San Francisco. The filing shows an additional floor has been added to the proposal, slightly increasing the unit count to 33 condominiums. The project developer, Acme Development, secured planning approval late last year.
The Huntington Hotel is set to reopen at its historic building located at 1075 California Street in San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood. The hotel originally closed in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, with no clear timeline for reopening. However, following a renovation project in association with Flynn Properties and Highgate, the hotel is on track to reopen its doors in early 2026.
Development permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use infill project at 1451 Mason Street in San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood. The project is expected to replace a narrow parcel currently used for surface parking with nine apartments and ground-floor retail.
