The project was approved in July. An appeal was filed last week by neighbors, though it is widely expected to fail. San Francisco-based Pine Street Development is responsible for the project.

A public hearing is to be held Thursday, September 9th, during which the city’s Planning Commission could approve the project for CEQA and push the religious facility closer to construction.
