Construction has started for 4200 Geary Boulevard, a seven-story affordable senior housing project rising in San Francisco’s Richmond District. The development is now looking toward completion in early 2025, with applications opening in the fourth quarter of next year. Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation is the project developer.
Building permits have been submitted seeking the approval of remodeling a residence at 145 19th Street in the Richmond District of San Francisco. The project proposal includes the modification of the existing building with a rear addition. The project also includes interior renovations on the first and second floors.
Gutierrez Associates Architects is responsible for the remodeling designs.

Once complete, the project will offer 98 new homes for residents earning between 15-50% of the Area Median Income.
Updated plans and new building permits have been filed for an eight-story residential infill at 3565 Geary Boulevard in San Francisco’s Richmond District. The proposal will create 63 apartments, reduced from previous plans by ten units. Shatara Architecture is responsible for the design, though detailed renderings have yet to be revealed.
New plans have been filed to expand and renovate the Synagogue at 2 Lake Street near Presidio Terrace, San Francisco. The project would address seismic concerns and expand the religious facility for the Congregation Emanu-El, whose distinctive dome overlooks the affluent gated neighborhood. The project is being sponsored by the Congregation of Emanu-El and Equity Community Builders.
