Updated plans are moving forward for a four-story hotel at 2 Petaluma Boulevard South in downtown Petaluma, Sonoma County. Earlier this week, the project was approved by the city’s Historic and Cultural Preservation Committee after the applicant reduced the overall height and guestroom capacity. Newport Beach-based EKN Development Group is the project developer.
Earlier this week, the Summer Oaks Development at 175 West Verano Avenue in Sonoma marked a major milestone in the building’s construction. The project’s partners, including representatives from Mid-Pen Housing, gathered to celebrate the initial framing of the affordable multi-unit building.

Sonoma County has approved plans for a residential infill at 175 Airport Boulevard in Larkfield. The project will bring several dozen homes to a vacant 4.8-acre parcel near Highway 101. Lafayette-based Lenox Homes is the project sponsor.
