New renderings have been revealed for a seven-story life sciences lab at 439 Eccles Avenue in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The city’s Planning Commission will review the project details tomorrow evening. Property owner Vigilant Holdings is partnering with SmartLabs to seek entitlements to redevelop the site.
The City of South San Francisco has published a notice of preparation of the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the rest of the Terminal Court research campus in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The project will reshape the former Golden Gate Produce terminal next to U.S. 101 and near the San Bruno BART Station. Steelwave is the project developer.

Plans write that the development could be used for offices, R&D, or technology development. Vigilant Holdings is the project sponsor.

The proposal will replace a surface parking lot next to the Golden Gate Produce Terminal, close to Freeway 101, and near Southline. Steelwave is the developer after buying the site in 2022 for $85 million.
