Jemcor Development Partners and Pacific Housing have partnered together to pursue a 300-unit affordable housing development at 950 West Julian Street in San Jose. The project aims to develop an acre-wide site with new homes close to SAP Center and Diridon Station. Late last week, the team reached a milestone after paying around $11.7 million for the site.
Berkeley’s Landmark Preservation Commission has voted to protect the United Artists Theater’s facade at 2274 Shattuck Avenue but not the rest of the structure. The decision will be reviewed by the City Council in a public meeting next Tuesday. After that, the developer, Panoramic Interests, is expected to have a clear pathway to start construction for the 227-unit tower once funding is secured.

New renderings have been revealed with updated information about a proposed five-story apartment complex at 6th and F Street, close to Sacramento Valley Station in Downtown Sacramento. The building will replace a surface parking lot with three hundred homes, parking, and amenities. Fairfield Residential is the project sponsor and developer.
