Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a residential project proposed at 4328 Martin Luther King Jr Way in Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of a six-story building offering both market-rate and affordable housing units.
Development permits have been filed for 2956 International Boulevard dubbed Derby Studios, a 100% affordable five-story residential infill in Fruitvale, Oakland. The application comes a year and a half after a preliminary application was filed with the city’s planning department, now with six fewer units. Lauren Alexander of Xander Dev Co, LLC, a Sonoma County-based developer, is listed as responsible for the project.
New development permits have been filed for 220 Alice Street, a six-story residential infill in Oakland’s waterfront district, Jack London Square. The building will add 210 apartments and ground-floor retail to the 0.4-acre property. Riaz Capital is the project applicant.
Oakland has approved the development permit for a seven-story residential project at 2901 Broadway in Oakland’s Pill Hill neighborhood. The proposal would bring 220 new homes on top of ground-floor retail to the area. Martin Group is the developer.
