Affordable Housing Inaugurated at 180 Jones Street, Tenderloin, San Francisco

A new 100% affordable housing project is now available for occupancy at 180 Jones Street in Tenderloin, San Francisco. The project proposal included the development of a new nine-story affordable housing complex. The City and Mayor London Breed celebrated the inauguration, and were joined by representatives from the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). Cahill Contractors is the contractor. Van Meter Williams Pollack LLP is responsible for the designs. TNDC is providing in-house property management and social services. Local firms Waypoint Consulting, California Housing Partnership, and Gubb & Barshay  are also enlisted on the project.

New Building Permit Requested for 1123 Sutter Street, San Francisco

New building permits have been requested for the 22-story proposal at 1101-1123 Sutter Street in Lower Nob Hill, San Francisco. The latest application shows that the number of affordable units has more than doubled, from 38 to 102 units, while the overall capacity is still to be 303 residences. Martin Building Company is responsible for the development, with design by David Baker Architects.
