The pre-application has finally been filed for a 50-story mixed-use tower at 2700 Sloat Boulevard in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset District. The increased plan, first hinted at last month, is a remarkable change from prior versions. Nevada-based CH Planning LLC is the project sponsor. Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a residential project proposed at 1436 Kearny Street in Telegraph Hill, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a four-unit townhome with a garage. The project calls for the demolition of a vacant single-family home on the property and an existing garage at the street frontage. One4Three6 Kearny LLC is the property owner. BAR Architects is responsible for the designs. Farella Braun + Martel is the land-use attorney for the project.
San Francisco Board of Supervisors is scheduled to vote today on designated $63 million for constructing 112 affordable housing units at 151 and 351 Friedell Street in the Hunters Point Shipyard masterplan. If approved, construction could start next month. The joint developers are Jonathan Rose Companies and Bayview Hunters Point Multipurpose Senior Services.
New renderings have been published for the renovations of 3 Transamerica for the Transamerica Complex redevelopment by SHVO in San Francisco’s Financial District. The project will double the structure’s height and floor capacity, partially reskin the building with a futuristic design by Foster + Partners, and expand the famous Redwood Park. The $400 million master plan includes renovations of the lobby and interiors of the city’s landmark Transamerica Pyramid.
New renderings have been revealed for the eight-story mixed-use corner development at 401 South Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco’s Mission District. The project is expected to create around 153-bedroom suites as part of a group housing complex buoyed by the adjacent 1500 15th Street. Elsey Partners is responsible for both applications.
